Im downsizing from a 29gallon to a 6 and 12 jbj nano cube and need advise.

I have decided that my 29 gallon is taking up to much room and have decided to get a 6 and 12 gallon jbj nano cube.. I was wondering how long am i going to have to wait tell I am able to move my coral and fish from my 29gal to the smaller nano cubes... I am planning on using all of the live rock that is currently in my 29 for the nanos.... and if I use the substrate as well will I have to cycle my tanks? Quentin

if you use the gravel it will take less time to cycle and to make it where you pretty much don't have to cycle is use the water in the 29g and put it in the 6g and 12g

A 6g and 12g are very small to be used with a salt water tank. Make sure you keep a close eye on all your levels (pH, temp, salt etc.). With a small tank the levels can change a lot quicker and changing levels can stress your fish.
