Hello to all. I have a question regarding setting up my aquapod to filter the water correctly, using the "over-flow skimming" system it comes with. I would like to know if im suppose to fill the tank completely where the tank, pump, and filter chambers are full to the top or is it suppose to be done another way? Can anyone help?

Yes Im currently going to use it for freshwater due to the fact im a newbie. The only reason why I ask in this section is because most people using this type of tank is running saltwater. I eventually plan on going salt after I gain experience with freshwater.

I believe aquapods have a line at the back top of the aquarium with a "minimum" and "max" water line. I have my 12g aquapod all the way full and just top off when i see it drop.

Well if you're running freshwater you don't even need to plug the skimmer in. Saltwater skimmers don't work for freshwater systems.
