| Jackpot Aquariums Chock up another craigslist purchase for me. I scored (3) complete aquariums for $45, (1) 2.5G, (1) 5G and (1) 10G. All complete with filters, gravel, decorations, etc. The guy had way to many tanks and was looking to sell some. He still has (7) setup and running in his house. He offered me a 20G complete and ready to go for $55, but I told him I only wanted the small ones. Will have a buddy of mine do the transaction in Houston and store them until the end of the month. He's coming down to these parts for my wedding at the end of the month, so he will bring them with him when he comes down. |

| HH, that's actually my plans. The 10G I was considering cherry barbs. The 5G a betta. ?The 2.5G I would try and sell for what I can get for it. I wanted to buy just the 10G, but he wanted to sell all together. |

You'd get 3 Dwarf puffers in there!)
| Yes, and end up with one when they start killing each other. |

| Well folks, I got my aquariums. A friend of mine from Houston brought them down when he came for my wedding. Here is some pictures of them. I haven't fully went through them, but the 5G bowfront seems to be an Eclipse system. It has a bio-wheel in the canopy. I might give the 2.5G one to my cousin for his kids. |

| Hi!
Cool! Personally, I'd have kept the 2.5gal and grown some small plants in it. |

| that's still an option. I couldn't think of what I could do with it. I'm open for ideas.
What kind of plants for such a small tank? |

| Hi!
Well, I hadn't thought of that but maybe some mosses, Windelov's java fern is nice, some small Anubias perhaps... That would make a good tank for a Pygmy gourami - I mean your cousin is probably going to try and cram 3 goldfish, an oscar, a pleco and Betta in there and wonder why they all died! |

| 10 Gallon: Regent hood, Auqa Tech 5-15 filter, Top Fin heater
5 Gallon: Regent hood with a F8/T5 bulb, Regent filter with bio-wheel. Looks just like a Marineland Eclipse system.
2.5 Gallon: Aquatic Gardens is the only thing I can find on it. |
