I mean i know it's gonna be different for each fish but i bought my yellow tang maybe 2-3 weeks ago and he is still very scared. he'll swima round when i'm on my bed or at my computer but if anyone walks into the room or over to the tank he instantly hides. he doesn't even eat until i walk away. He's definitely come a long way since i first got himn though. I also added a small niger trigger yesterday who still won't come out when anyone is in the room., so i'm just wondering about how long until i can show them off to people haha.

It took about a month for my Blue Jaw Trigger to get used to me. He recognizes me but will still occasionally hide from other people. I got him in January so that may give you an idea...

I only have freshwater, but it took my cories about a month to get used to people and water changes.
