I'm looking for the best aquarium magazine so i can get a subscription to one. I'd prefer it to be solely marine but if there aren;t any good i'd be fine with marine and freshwater too. Let me know what you guys think.

CORAL Magazine is very good and I def. recommend it. One of the things that I look forward to getting in the mail.

Tropical Fish Hobbyist is my favorite magazine, but is a mix of FW and SW. It always has good articles.

There are FAMA (fresh and marine aquarium), Aquarium Fish and Practical fish Keeping Mag (?)

Yeah it is expensive, but the paper, format, pics and articles seem better (depth wise). There isn't as much filler material as the other mags seem to have either, at least it seems that way to me. I'm sure their readership is way lower than the other mags that are geared towards both freshwater and saltwater hobbyists and they may have a harder time getting advertisers.

TFH has a good magazine too but I don't really care for the size of the magazine. I find it cumbersome to read. It's a weird size. The articles are usually pretty good though.

I think all the mags that are currently available are worth reading and subscribing too but I just like CORAL the best.

If anyone is interested, in honor of Earth Day, Tropical Fish Magazine is having a special 3 day sale (ending today) on an electronic version of its subscription (1 year) for $1.00. Might be a good way to see if you like the magazine without the cost.

Bowtie Publishing has several good animal magazines (bird talk, dog fancy, etc). They have two fish magazines.
