Aquarium Shows?

I thought i heard about something in singapore every year that's like an aquarium show where breeders and suppliers bring the best of their best to show off and sell. i may be wrong but is there anything like that in the New York area? if there isn't i think it's a cool idea.

I haven't heard anything like that around me, I'm in Southern NY though.
