moving with my tank back east.. i plan on bucketing my live rock, bagging my stony's and my fish and leaving just enough tank water in tank to keep my gravel ok. its a 28 hour trip... anyone have any other suggestions to keep everything alive?

You might want to be careful with leaving some water in your tank. You might be better off putting any water you want to save in a plastic bucket and bring it with you separately! An uneven tank with some water in it can crack especially if the water is swishing back and forth. As far as keeping everything alive?? I think bagging it should be fine?? They ship fish fed x all the time. Maybe fill the bags with pure oxygen if you can but I am kind of uncertain on it. I'm sure someone hear will have some ideas. the trip is done... so far i have not noticed any loss yet....ended up about a 33 hour trip but everything is doing alright now... this week will be the test to see what will be making it

the green monty cap might have some issue but everything else seems like it is coming back fairly well. the mnty looks about half dead....wondering if i should try to break off the dead to ease it back around
