100% Sealed "Aquarium"

I seen an advertisement a while back on a 100% sealed aquarium. It had a certain type of liquid inside the little sphere. Also there was a branch inside and some shrimp. When I read up on it, it's one living cycle.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Like this one. It's a pretty cool set up, except the shrimp only have a year or two before they die and then there isn't anything moving to look at. That and the price is a bit out there for a glorified snow globe . And yeah I want one... lol.

that's what I was talking about, but the one I seen a while back wasn't but 60 bucks or so for one, no where near the $500 that website is asking for one.

Re: 100% Sealed "Aquarium"

I've seen these things sold at Brookstone, for 60-some dollars. Story:

My sister thought it was a fancy snowglobe, and shook it - then she saw the poster which described what it really was. She backed away very nonchalantly, and no one ever caught on to who had killed the shrimp.

I feel sorry for whoever bought that particular one, though.
