Re: when i get my 55...is this over crowding?

I believe it is under by a few inches per gallon, if you had to get more, get some more cherry barbs. As for the zebra pleco, have fun trying to track on of those down for a good price, I have seen them going for a few hundred dollars. The clown pleco is a good algae eater but require a big piece of wood to hide under and lots of hiding places. It also needs a slice of fresh vege's every couple of days or it will always hide. The corys like to be in schools but with the pleco, you won't need any corys. The pleco also prduces lots of watse since it's main part of the diet is wood, so be prepared to lots of water changes. I have a clown pleco so feel free to ask some questions about it. Over all if you get 5 more barbs and the clown pleco and ditch the corys, you will be at a comfortable. The pleco I have looks like this one

Re: when i get my 55...is this over crowding?

i dont know if you read the part wher i said i wanted these in a 29,
or it is undercrowding, it didnt seem like it to me,
but what about candy stripe plecos?
ive seen those simular to zebras,
but i want a really small pleco,
and are these a good mix for being all together?
i figured the angle will be fine b/c they are only agressive at breeding,

Unfortunatly with just the rummys and the cherrys a 29 gal tank would be fully stocked, consider 5 rummys, 5 cherrys, and 3 corys (3 inch). That would make a great tank.

Bettas aren't real good community fish, they prefer to live alone. A clown pleco or two Otocinclus would be a good last addition to the tank. I do believe that angelfish like to be in pairs though, how about 7 rummy nose, 2 angels, and 2 otocinclus/one clown pleco?
