I have a five gallon planted tank with 3 african dwarf frogs a mystery snail and two guppies. Do you think this is overstocked? I need your opinions! The tank is gettin real dirty and I think there is two much of a bio load. If so... I plan to give the two guppies back to My LFS. I could get a refund from where i bought them at petco, but I am afraid they will be mistreated there so i want to give them to my LFS near me that treat their fish very good. I feel bad doing this, because they are real pretty, but they dont seem happy in my 5 gallon. what are all your opinions? I was planning on putting them in my 10 gallon where only a crayfish lives, but then I realized this was a horrible idea because ( besides the crayfish being in there with them) there is a 15 Degree temperature difference.

Yes, it's overstocked. Those frogs need 3g each and the guppies need 2g each, so that's 13g plus snails put out a bit of waste too. Even if you removed the guppies, the frogs have you overstocked - 3 of them basically fill a 10g tank.
