We bought a frog about a week ago and when I woke up this morning, he was dead. He never seemed very active, always hiding in the big rock and I never saw him eat anything. The clerk at the fish store said that they eat the algae wafers and blood worms. I put the wafers in at night, because we have a pleco too, and they would be gone in the morning. What could have happened to him. Are these hard to care for?

Did you see him eating any? Did you feed him bloodworms sometimes? How long has the tank been running and what are the water parameters?

i dont hink they will eat algae wafers. I feed mine frog and tadpole bites. i heard that they especially LOVE frozen bloodworms, as live ones can carry disease.
