my 3 year old brother now can recognize several different species of fish zebra danios, platies, plecos (suckerfish he calls them, he loves the bristlenoses ), guppies, and....of course...kuhli loaches my obsession lol. its realy cute, he loves to look at all my fish books and i show him some pictures and say "whats that?" "suckerfish!" "platy!" "guppy!" "zeba danyo!"
and he loves to watch them in the tank. I have fingerprints all over the front glass to prove it...

he is! its impossible to get mad at him! even though i have to wipe down the front of the tank a lot....lol

Your very lucky that you have the oportunity to teach him these things and as he gets older to love the hobby and be able to pass on some of the things you've learned. He's a budding hobbyist!!! He must see your love for your fish if he likes them that much. Congratulations on a job well done.
