Do you remember my cousins who made my betta fight.Well they have their own tank now.Actually two,I told their parents they wouldn't be responsible with fish,but they said they bought it with their own money.They told me they were going to make them a profile on fishlore.They also said they were going to use the 55g they have as a betta fighting tank and the 100g as a cichlid tank,what do I do.

Ugh, can your parents talk to their parents?
I honestly can't beleive that adults would allow children to fight any kind of animal, even if they bought it with their own money.

I felt awful when a baby guppy swam through my divider (sneaky little fish!), and rushed to get it out, so I really cannot understand why they would knowingly want to fight the fish... The parents really should not be encouraging them, whether it was their own money or not, fish tanks can be returned so it is not an excuse...
I really hope you can talk them round, it's not fair either on the people who want to save a betta from the store but can't as they are being used for fighting by 2 people not fit to look after themselves, let alone a defenceless animal. Makes me sick.
