Hello Play and welcome to Fishlore.

I'm sorry your grandkids keep getting eaten, have you tried using a breeder box to put the fry in? Also are you feeding the angelfish enough?

I think I've seen some angelfish videos where they put their babies in their mouth and spit them out. Is that what's happening to your fry or the angelfish is actually just eating them?

What are your water parameters as well.

Hi play...from looking at your aquarium info, sounds like it could be an uncycled tank as your tanks are so new.....most likely the angels are pregnant when you get them, but the tank isnt ready for fish yet and might have an ammonia issue...do you know what your ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are? what test kit are you using? eating their fry wont kill them and its got to be something else going on

Yeah I realized you have a betta in with the angels when you posted the other tank. I hope you have a q/t tank that betta has gone through a lot. I think i've also read that angels need really mature tanks but it may not be true.

Your ammonia is 0 but what about your nitrites and nitrates? what type of test are you using? liquid or strip?

Some angel pairs just never get it right *L* It may not be anything wrong with the tank or water. Anyway, unless you have another tank to raise the young angels in (the 29gal) will struggle with a full spawn growing up in it, you may be better off to permit the adults a good feed.

Constantly guarding against intruders (the betta, turning lights off and on or even you coming close to the tank) can trigger some adults to eat the eggs or fry.

Hi play and WELCOME TO FISHLORE! (I haven't wished you yet)

http://www.fishlore.com/NitrogenCycle.htm
Please read the above article link before you go any further. We'll also need to know if you are using the liquid test kid or the strips to test your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. All these are very important for all your tanks and the safety of your fish.

I also kindly advise that you get your betta his own tank. A 5-10 gal would be good enough Please keep us updated and we here in FL will try to help you out.

Best of luck!
