Best freshwater magazine? I'm looking for a good freshwater magazine. Solely fresh would be best but if it has a mix that is cool.

I like Tropical Fish Hobbyist monthly. There's some very informative articles with sections on fish of the month, livebearers, your planted aquarium, cichlids, even a Q&A section. It's for both fresh and salt water though, and being a keeper of freshwater myself, I enjoy reading the salty articles every once and a while.

I don't think there's a solely fresh magazine. I have a subscription to TFH magazine, and I also bought a bunch of AFI magazines, and personally, I prefer TFH, just really good articles, Takashi Amano writes one per month. Its also had some really cool topics, such as good nano fish, and probably my favorite topic of all, which was about a man who kept Micro-tanks, ranging from < 1/3 of an ounce to 5 gallons, all with beautiful photography.

I also really like TFH magazine. I subscribe to it and save all my issues so that I can go back and re-read articles

Is the only way to get back issues to order them from the website? Last edited by ApolloX54; June 9th, 2009 at 07:35 PM.
