What a joke!

I thought i would give you guys a little heads up on this website called aquariumplantsandsupplies.com I bought some java moss from there...ohhhh about 3 1/2 weeks ago. After contacting them several times and each time them telling me to wait another 2-3 days and they are "extremely sorry for the inconvinience" it still hadn't come. so i finally contacted them one last time and told them how upset i am. Again, they apologized and told me to wait another week and since it would probabaly arrive dead, i should drop them an e-mail and they'll ship me another one. Long story short, i've waited close to a month for a shipment of java moss and then since it was going to arrive dead, they wanted me to wait another month. what a joke!

You aren't being clear. Did they take a long time to ship it and/or did the post office "lose" it? Since they assume it was going to arrive dead I'm assuming it was lost in the mail which isn't their fault.

I disagree on both counts, sort of.
The original post was clear to me: The company shipped quite awhile ago, according to them (more on this in a moment), and the package has not yet arrived. If they truly did ship it, you're correct, that's not the company's fault.
The company wants Fullofit to wait another month to see if a package that should arrive in a week or so will come. That is the company's fault, and it's bad customer service.

Fullofit: how did you pay? I would take a look at the rules for disputing a purchase, because the company may be messing with you and trying to get you to wait beyond the cutoff point for filing a dispute.

Also, how did you ship, did they give you a tracking number, etc...?

This may be a legitimate loss on the part of the shipping company's fault, but you don't want to presume so and wait so long that it becomes more difficult to get your money back if it turns out not to be.

I agree with SDS...It was crystal clear to me too. Whether it was them not shipping at all or it being lost during transit waiting this long is not a good buisness practice.

I actually paid through paypal. I couldn't imagine it being a fraud because it was a very nice website and they are huge on e-bay and on aquabid.

If you report it within 30 days of purchase at Paypal, it can be a lot easier to deal with. Paypal suggests, I think, reporting something like this even if it seems like the company is working with you to solve it, because it keeps open your options of getting the money back easily.

Of course, it's up to you how you want to deal with it.
