new tank

yes, i did it got a 75g to go with my 125g tank ... now for the questions ..lol.. the 75g came with canister filter was wondering if i put canister on 125g and took 1 of emporer HOB filters of and put it on 75g would it cycle faster ?

that's my question alex .... would nitrAtes show up in my tank ..... used a filter from cycled tank .... i'm pretty sure no amm or nI

yep, i'd give it 24-48 hours after adding your fish (add about 1 hour after adding the new filter/media) and then test for everything, that should give enough time for the bacteria to process everything into nitrAtes if you are, in fact, cycled

i blame all my problems on fishlore ...... 1 month ago i had 0 tanks ... now i have 3 my wife is going to kill me soon ! lol
