| ah okay, gotcha. well good luck with him!!!!!! and of course you should post pictures soon! but yeah, i'd say just go ahead and put him in the tank, even if it isn't done cycling it's better than the bowl |

| the cycle is definitely better than the bowl, i guarantee it. if you're concerned, do daily water changes until you can get the API test kit |

|
| | Fish Keeper

|
| | Fish Master
| i'd say not EVERY time but maybe every other time or every three times add enough for the whole tank just in case. but not every time. |

| he looks so happy and loves to explore his freedom. hes a bit shaky when he swims but i think its because hes not used to having a current from a filter in his tank. is there somthing i could do to weaken the flow a bit or do you think he will adjust? ill post some pics when i can |
| |
February 1st, 2009
|
| | Fish Master
| you can take some string and tie a filter pad to the intake to slow down the flow |

| | Fish Keeper
| would a sponge work? |
| |
February 1st, 2009
|
| | Fish Master
| yeah as long as there are no dyes or perfumes or anything and it's never been used before or touched soap, a sponge would work great! |
| |
February 2nd, 2009
|
| | Fish Keeper
| well he seems to have adjusted to the filter but ill see how he does and post a pic later. |
