I had 5 Guppys and 2 old fry & 1 new fry & 2 red and blue neon, 1 black neon and 1 silver neon last night, but i went away for a night and i feed them there usuall when i came back i found my female guppy floating around the top of my 5g tank, I got my brother to take it out. Just after i found it i realized i hadn't seen my male guppy(beuty) well i found it lieing a the bottom of my tank also gray...
I read that if a neon has a big belly then it is diseased and will kill all the fish with it. well my neons had a big belly.
I am wondering if this is true about the belly and if any1 can give me advice?

How long has your tank been set up and what are the water test readings? Guppys are very sensitive to and ammonia spikes at all.
Sometimes neon females are full of eggs so a big belly is no indication of disease. But if the scales are sticking out like a pine cone then thats a different story.
