Ok so I got 2 new fluval 305's and put them in the tank. I rinsed out all the media, plus the biomax. I turned on both filters and I got a torrential flood of whitish "dust" or powder that shot into the water from both and it made the whole tank foggy. Its settled on the gravel and if I stir it up it clouds the water. Was I supposed to wash that stuff for 10 days or something? What should I do at this point?

It will clear up, my fluvals did the same thing when I put new media in, even if it was rinsed. Water changes will help clear it up faster =)

ok, i was going to completely drain it and fill it up again. do you think i should open the fluvals and rinse out the media really really well, or at this point its just probably clear of all that dam dust lol.
