My pleco has shredded almost all my plants except the Wisteria is going strong and a bit of something is still hanging on...not for long, says Blink.* So the tank has been kind of bare.* I put in my old fake plants(which actually look very realistic), and it looks a lot greener and fuller.* Some pics to follow...
The swordies love it, they are checking everything out with gusto, even the fry * I think Blink is going to be disappointed that he can't pull out and pick apart each stem of the fake plants.

Oh, Emma, what a naughty pleco! Isn't it amazing what we will put up with for our little darlings? He will certainly get a big surprise when he goes after the fake plants!

I shall look forward to the pictures!

I think he likes all the extra cover, i actually SAW him this morning!!!!!!!! Wow!

Hehehehehehehe. Are you feeding him fresh veggies at least once a week? Sometimes when they're hungry, they attack the plants. And have you checked out the pleco caves? You might want to get him one. Sometimes plecos will me much more out and about when they have they're own special place to run to!

oh, I don't feed him fresh veggies...didn't know I should. I give him an algae wafer once or twice a week. Only that often because there is a lot of bits of plants for him to chew on :
