Setting up second aquarium, stocking ideas?

I was at costco yesterday, and they had a 7g eclipse hexagon tank with cfl and biowheel filter, for $30. Obviously I had to buy one. So now my second tank is cycling.

Id like to take advantage of the sealed top of this tank and put something in it that I cant put in my 30g. I was thinking ADF for one, then maybe a betta and some danios or something.

Are there any eels that are small enough for a 7g?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

There are no eels that you could possibly place in a 7g aquarium. However, you could start off a "mini-community" with one of the following stock suggestions below:

1x Betta
1x Corydoras
1X mystery snail
______________

3x dwarf platy>>Almost always supplied at local PetSmart
3x dwarf corydoras catfish <<preferably Corydoras Hastatus>>
1x mystery snail
______________

3x Zebra Danio
1x Corydoras

Basically, don't exceed 10 inches worth of ADULT-SIZED fish in your tank, and dont purchase anything exceeding 3 1/2" at maximum size. Stay small and good luck

You could put a dwarf puffer and a oto catfish in it, or neons something really small.
I would say platy but they are like guppies about breeding.

I have some platys in my big tank. I like the dwarf puffer idea, something a little exotic would be good..
