I was wondering if anyone has experience with ordering fish from any online retailers and which ones might be recommended. I'm trying to locate an electric blue jack dempsey and looking at different variations of pleco that cannot be found at my lfs. It would be nice to be able to order just once fish without having to worry about losing any in delivery, but I'm afraid to order from just anywhere and have helpless fish sacrificed.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thank you. I did check out live aquaria but did not see the fish we are trying to locate. But thanks a bunch! Can't wait to check out the others.

are there any local fish clubs there in Pittsburgh? The clubs can often have cichlid and pleco breeders with the species not easily found.

http://www.aquariumfish.net/catalog_...table.htm#top2 -- about 1/2 way down the page -- they have electric blue jack dempseys. Can't vouch for them, as I've never used them, but their customer comments on the site seem pretty ok.
