yes i do but being in florida wouldnt it be a bad idea to expose it to the heat and sun. wouldnt that cause an algae problem?

we've been cycling our tanks on the back porch.. if you can keep them out of direct sunlight mostly, they're ok and we just wiped off any algae. we started doing that because of the wonderful smells from the cycling tank but hear that warmer water helps speed up the cycle some.

wow i think that may be the way to go. what would be best to secure the small chip. some have said silacone sealant but im thinking that wouldnt be as strong as epoxy. does it really matter which i use or which would be more durable?

i'd PM timg with that question. he knows his stuff with tank construction and would know the best adhesive. I really don't have any experience with them myself.

You shouldn't clean tank with bleach or any kind of solvent. Just water hot or cold...or something that is meant to clean aquariums.
