no stand.. went and looked at it today since I was out in the area.. I wasn't happy with it.. It held water but it appeared to be weeping along the bottom edges.

While at petco getting algae wafers for my pleco I saw what they had to offer.. 200$ for a complete 55 gallon set up(no stand) 125$ for a 29 gallon set up.. I think next week I'll go for the 29 gallon set up

Why not the 55? You spend about $75 more now but you get 21 more gallons of water to play with.

If it's just weeping, a bit of silicone my fix it.
Maybe if we can grab timg's attention, he can give you an idea of how easy such a problem would be to fix.

yea, timg would be the DIY expert to consult.. it would be great to take that deal.

if you have room and the extra $75 (plus the extra money a 55g stand would be over a 29g), the 55g would be the tank to go with i think.

my moms kitchen has a bar in front of the sink.. but it is 1 inch to narrow for a 55 gallon.. and I dont think it will hold 600-700 lbs...

I'm heading out to petco to snag a 30 gallon tank that is on sale as well as a filter deal for it.. cycle that thing and stock it up
