Brackish Cleaner Crew
For my wife's birthday, I got her a 30g hex tank. She really loves the look of Silver Lyretail Mollies, so that's what we're going to be stocking her tank with those. I know that Mollies prefer a mild salinity in their aquarium water, so we're going to make it a mildly brackish tank.
My question is, what can I add to the tank to make up a cleaner crew? I wouldn't worry too much about the Mollies being aggressive, unless the creature has no defense (doesn't really hide, doesn't have a shell, can't move fast). The tank is going to have quite a few hiding places in it, and the majority of the bottom of the tank is going to be one hiding place after another. I'm thinking that snails are going to be my best bet, but I don't know if there are any suckermouth fish that live in brackish water. (I've done some searches, but haven't had any success)
Also thinking of other inverts to clean larger bits of algae/spare food, such as crabs or shrimp.
