Okay, so as some of you may have noticed my recent....blarb(if its a word) of posts about fish. I'm just so excited to be getting my old tank back up and running again with new fish! I'm still not too sure about what to do with my 10gal though, I'm hoping for a betta, but my mum is pretty strict, I don't think it'll happen.

Also, I recently tried added those reddish-green fake plants to my 10gal, and other than the fact that it makes the dirt on my old ornaments look obvious, it really makes my tank shine! And little Ricky is enjoying the new hiding spaces I'll be sure to postsome pics of the 10gal when I find my USB cord, and be ready for some pics of my newly set up 29gal sometime this weekend!

Here's the ten gallon tank pictures. The last one is Rick's favorite hiding spot, just behind the jug ornament(not in it lol) and by the bottom of my new (fake) plant.

Got my 29 up! I used the old filter carterige from like... 5 months ago lol... Glad I kept it. I noticed it had already been used for awhile in the 29 when it was previously up, so that'll make cylcing alot faster! I took TONS of pictures when I set up the tank, completely empty, with the gravel, halfway filled, added decorations, almost all the way full, and finished. It looks good. I'd upload the pics, but I'm too lazy to change the file size

I got my fish today! I now have 6 Zebra Danios in my 29 gal Well, only 2 are zebras, the other 4 are leopard danios...whatever that is.

Leopard Danio's have spots, Zebras have stripes. Thats the only difference.

If the media has been dried out for a while, the bacteria would have died. It wom't help with cycling the new tank.

You can use a peice of the filter media from the 10 and a handful of gravel hung in a clean stocking to help seed. Even the dirty plants you mentioned will help. lol

Yeah, I know. Working on that now. The 29 gal pics will be up soon. I got about 3 more plants, a cave, and another peice of driftwood in my 29gal, So it looks AMAZING.
