I was looking at one of my black male mollie while i was doing my water change today and i am startiing to see white spots on him he is in my main tank i have a ten gallon tank with a betta in it how could he heal him with out putting meds in my main tank?

You could use a product called Ich Attack. It was recommended to me by FLBettaCouple and it is all organic, and will not interrupt your cycle. It worked wonders in my hospital tank and in my main tank when it was used as prescribed.

How much should i raise the temp in my tank the temp now is 77 almost 78 degrees? I also have quick cure comes with a red top that has worked great for me. If i put it in my main tank will my swordtails and plecos be ok?

Now my other molly is up at the top of the tank sucking at the surface i have plenty oxygen in my tank i have a powerhead and round disc bubbler in my tank. He does not show any signs of it yet like my other molly does i just got done with a water change so not sure what it could be.

Make sure whatever you use can be used with Bettas - labyrinth fish can be sensitive to certain medications - Someone with bettas should weigh in on this....I have a gourami, but thankfully I've never had any outbreaks of illness in my tank.

My betta is in my 10 gallon not my 29 gallon and that is what my mollies are in

The ich-attack is safe for any fish, even scaleless fish like plecos. The tank temp for the tank with the mollies needs to be raised to and kept at least at 82 for 2 weeks to combat the ich. If you can increase the aeration to that tank, I'd recommend giving it all the bubbles you can to make up for the lower oxygen they'll have when the water gets warmer.

The molly at the surface - does it have red/purple gills? What is the current ammonia & nitrites readings on that tank?

My one molly was pooping it was coming out red is that normal? My food that i feed them i a red color

I'm getting a bit confused here... I thought ich was a spot on the fish which itches,while ick was the white spots.....

As far as i know, ich and ick are the same thing. people just spell it one way or the other.

I have Quick Cure by Aquarium Products that i use for my ick problem in my tank should i do a water change if i am going to do another treatment? On the bottle it does not say to do a water change.

I like to do a water change before doing meds so i'd do one before putting that in.. just let the water get back up to 82 at least after the water change first, if possible.
