Re: Molly Fish Photos
Here's our latest addition: a chocolate sailfin molly (male, obviously). I can't quite seem to get his colour on photo. He's really dark brown speckled with the tyniest of white, he's in fact nearly black, and he has these lovely deep brown eyes.

Re: Molly Fish Photos
This is another photo of our chocolate sailfin molly male. It is really blurry, but at least you can see his brown eyes.

These pics are posted to try to determine sex of all. I am having a lot of aggression from the little white mollies against the dalmation in particular. Alth9ugh the white one will also take after the big black sailfin sometimes too. I am not sure if this is play or what, but the dalmation and the small white pearl molly really get into it, with a lot of posturing, grabbing each others top fin etc. However, there are no signs of injury, no bites, rips or tears.
The best pics I took were too large to send, so hoping Chief Water Changer can cast some light on this predicament.
They truly all look like males to me....
I think I just got 2 pearl mollies who are too big for their britches - the four sailfins are three times their size.
Sailfins are Black - alpha fish
Dalmation
Marble & Gold.
Thanks, Val

Here's my neurotic male. He's really nice to me, and totally anti-social with the other fish. Caught him mid-pout.
He's in the shot with two pygmy corys.

OK, this is what happens when you put food in the little amphoras.
So first he does a practice eating face, then a careful sniff, then half the face ends up in the pot.

OK, here's some more pictures of our happy family.
1/ Male dalmatian black-white sailfin. The flash makes it look like I've Photoshopped it. I don't know why, his markings don't come out well with the flash.
2/ Male chocolate sailfin with female dalmatian brown balloon sailfin. She's my all-time favorite fish.
3/ Female dalmatian black-white sailfin, female dalmatian orange-black sailfin. I love they're 'Are you talking' to me?' look, LOL
4/ Female pale orange sailfin. I don't find her very attractive, but I really needed two females at the time to keep my isolated male company. I got her at the same time as my beloved white one, who was a sibling. Sadly, she passed away last week.

And here's more pictures of my little molly family.
1/ Some mollies in the foreground, and a loach burying itself in the floating plant, like they love to do.
2/ Orange/black and black/white females. Both quite heavily pregnant.
3/ That photo of the spotted orange/black one is the best I have of her. It really captures her dominant dignity - she's totally the alpha animal of the group, she even dominates the males.
4/ Pale orange female.
5/ That last photo is another tank. To the left is one of the balloon fry I got out of two normal mollies. She was so cute we kept her. She's now about 4 months old. She's the exact replica of her mom (the big, black/orange female) except she's a balloon. If you look to the right, you'll see a male orange molly and a female sunset platy facing the camera, being their nosy selves.

And here's a close-up of my favorite fish ever. She's part of the first bunch I had and I nearly lost her to birth difficulties a while back.

Here's another close-up of my chocolate molly (male, obviously). On this shot, you can see his special brown eyes.
The other one's of my balloon being a pig as usual. She's gorging herself with algae from the hamster maze.
