Sexing a Platinum Lyretail Molly

how do I tell male from female on a plat lyre? I heard something about the longer anal fin but doesnt that only pertain to swordtails?

thanks!

Re: Sexing a Platinum Lyretail Molly

Hi Yeti

The distinctive trait is a pointy, rather than flat and triangular, anal fin. This is true to all mollies - and perhaps even all other livebeares, but not sure on that one.
