I have Golden Mollies and I found one dead today. I had not noticed anything unusual about her apart from the fact that she seems to be pregnant and has been pregnant for more than a month. I am worried now because I have one more female who is keeping to herself. They are in freshwater but there are also tetras and corys in the tank so I don't want to add salt. Can anybody suggest anything? Cheers.

A water change is always your first line of defense do doing one would be good. Have you done water tests, like ammonia-nitrite-nitrate ?

Thanks. Have done one. Will keep them up. The nitrite were a bit higher than normal. My other fish seem fine though.

Sometimes when pregnant or having just given birth livebearers are a little more susceptable to higher readings than your other fish.
How long has your tank been set up? Has it cycled? Keep checking for ammonia, nitrite and nitrates and do those water changes if needed so no more of your fishies will get sick
