I was just curious of how often you should put aquarium salt in with mollies every water change once a week? Would platies swordtails or any other live breeders would they be ok with the salt u have to put in ur tank for the mollies?

Mollys have been aquarium bred for so long they really don't need salt. BUT if you choose to put salt in it should be added at water change time and only enough for the water your putting back in.

All livebearers do okay with salt.

I know my mollies do better with a little bit of salt, but they were hardly at death's door before. So I guess if they're OK now, then it's OK without salt.
