I bought 3 gorgeous sailfins males the other day. My hope was that they would get along in my 33g, which is heavily planted. My plan for this tank is to have many livebearers, but all males so I won't have millions of babies. I love livebearers but don't have the time to mess with fry. Anyway, the 3 boys are chasing each other all over the tank. I don't think it is aggression because they are "sniffing" at their bellies like they would if they were trying to mate. It is aggrevating because not only is their constant chasing of each other stressing them out, they are stressing me out. I had another smaller sailfin in there that they stressed to the point of it dying. Is this normal behavior between males? Are my only options to 1) purchase females to keep the males off each other (which I am not doing) or 2) keep only one male in the tank?

that sniffing is checking for a receptive female. i would get at least 1 female toward each male. if you don't want fry, you can give them to some one or you LPS or you could just leave them in there, they will probably make a great snack for the other fish, i know a bit cruel, but you know, you have to have females.
