I'm fed up! I'm taking her back. She's been so mean since I got her and she's going back! I just got off the phone with the aquatic store I bought her from and told the guy that I was tempted to throw her in my cycling tank. He laughed and said bring her back and I will give you another one. I'm so excited!! It took a long time catch her though and she's here sitting in a cup pooping her brains out.

I don't understand why she is so mean. She wont leave the Platy alone, constantly nips at her fry, hogs all the food... I will be glad to get a nicer fish!! The first yellow molly we had was so funny and sweet.

my dalmation molly is the same i tried to temporarily move my black moor into the tank untill the pond was ready so he wouldnt be in a ten gallon and she killed him!!! he lost almost all his scales i think im going to take her back too.

I think the tank is a happier place now. Cheeto (platy) is not being chased constantly. She was really big too since she hogged all the food. Now the other seem like they are swimming around more and the tank was so easy to clean this morning, not as much poo!!

Did the fish have enough room for them. If not that could have caused the molly to be territorial.

no there not mean fish. i had a female which caused all of my mollys to die of swimbladder via stress. theres always one that doesnt mix.

They just need to be kept happy or they'll get aggressive.

By giving them their right parameters, space, food, and hiding places. Like cichlids. They are already aggressive. Your just need to keep them happy, and it will lower their steam. You said they are not aggressive?

i dont think mollys are aggressive at all my other 2 mollies are really sweet.
