Aggressive female molly

Every time I feed them, my one female chases other fish away from the food so she can get it. Is this normal?

Mollies have been known to be a little pushy at times, but this is almost always an issue with the males. I think you should try to feed food on different sides of the aquarium so she can't possibly get all the food at once. If you've already tried this, try introducing some sinking food tablets and add a couple of those plus flakes to allow some fish to peck at them and others to eat flakes from the surface at the same time.

when i first started out my female molly caused 2 out of the 4 mollies to die. ironically she died. i only had one left. (They died by swim bladder caused by stress). Now i have 28 fish in my tank and my survival rate is 99.999999%.

Now, with your female you could look into some medication to calm her down. or as
TFA101 said, try putting two piles if fish flakes into the tank so she cant possibly harm the others.

Also another way to do it is to get a pinch of food and keep it in your fingers. put your finger about 3cm underwater and let go. the flakes will sink therefore makig it harder for the female to reach different levels of tank depth to scare the fish.
