pregnant black molly

My black molly has been looking a bit big for a few days now. Yesterday i noticed that she was getting bigger, rounder around her stomach area. Somewhat she has a bit of white around her stomach below her fin area. The area around her umm is a bit white. I read that these could be signs of birthing soon. I have put in the breding tank yesterday afternoon. How long should i wait for her birthing or could i perhaps be wrong about her being pregnant? Pls help...thx

is she squared off? can you see a gravid spot? (if you're unsure, click on the words that should be underlined in blue and it will give you a better description) and if you can get a picture of her then we can let you know more definitively whether or not she's pregnant

They can be at times, especially when they're hungry :P But most of the time, it's the male mollies that are nuisances to the females and other fish. Just keep a male female ration of 3 females to 1 male.

Wouldn't it be hard to see a gravid spot on a black molly? If she's really plump she is probably pregnant.
