I have a boy and a girl molly and every time the boy charges at her she shys away or swims away very quickly like he wants to mate but she is not ready yet she is only about 1 1/2 inches long and he 2 to 2 1/4 inches long so any suggestions on what is happening here?

its normal behavoir..just make sure the tank is planted(real or fake) and plenty of space for her to get away or he could stress her until she dies

normal behavior for m/f mollies LOL ...even f/f or m/m mollies chase and harrass one another constantly..its just what they do ...they will breed no matter what you do if they are ready..but again, if not enough space for her, she will probably die from stress as he wont stop chasing her ...
