Um I am really new to mollies and I was wondering my male molly swims over my female molly and the both sorta wiggle(shake)their bodies in that postion but their still is some space between them while that happens? What is really happening are they breeding because they sure do that a lot!

I don't have mollys but it sounds like mating behavior.
I'm sure someone who has them can better answer this question for you.

Generally when they are mating the mollies will swim close together, the girl mollies will briefly lay over on one side for the male and he will then move his gonopodium in the direction of the girls belly.

They both stay right side up while doing it to and they are very close together does that help? I can see how it can be hard to understand but I just really need to know if their mating or not! Also thank you for the information Jonah!

they werent mating at the time but they just had their 2nd batch of fry! but then my male died please go to my new thread! thanks
