help...please

i have a dalmation molly, the last two days she stays vertical most of the time.. I have had mollies before (black) and when the female would have babies she would go vertical for a few minutes then start swimming again.. eventually we would see the frys..
today i noticed her tail isn't moving... i have a breeder net but i have frys in there and my tank is too small to add another one... 10gal... (we bought the tank for my grandson 3yrs to keep in his room).. i don't know what to do..is she dying?

Do you know what the readings for the tank are?

ammonia=
nitrite=
nitrate=

?

Water params are a good place to start when fish are not behaving normally.

A liquid test kit rather than strips, is the most accurate, the API master test kit is amongst the best

1 fish may just be more suceptible than the rest to the conditions.

Is she showing any other signs other than just hanging in the water? could you post up a picture so others can see if they can spot something else?

What else is in the tank?

Sorry for the litany of questions its just the more info the easier it is to help

Yes, water parameters are important. Often there will be one fish that begins showing symptoms before the others (I had a gourami develop advanced ammonia poisoning before any of the other fish showed even a hint of it.)

Swim bladder issue is a possibility. That's often the cause of fish swimming at odd angles.
It's also possible, if she's pregnant, that the fry are stuck.
