How big are Mollies full grown?

I've read that mollies can get up to 4 1/2 inches, but I've never seen one bigger than 2 inches..
What's the common adult size for dalmaiton and marble mollies

i'd say it's closer to 3 or 3.5 inches, i haven't seen one bigger than that personally

I have a pair of mollies that I am taking to my bio teacher monday that are around 3.5 inches long, and super chunky. They are at least twice as big as the mollies in my dad's tank.

You're welcome! Oh, and they're dalmation mollies. I belive they are pretty old, I don't think they will grow any larger.

Don't the sailfins get bigger than the regular ones? I think that's what I heard....

Ok, mine are a mix of dalmation & marble, but they all have 'regular' fins- no lyretail or sailfin, plus the only mail is a marble molly.

Thanks! That helps a lot, I'm worried about our tank being too full, now that we have platy fry!
