Hello I have recently purchased 3 mollys but i had not read up enough to tell for myself if they were male or female. I did ask for 1 male and 2 females but what i think i actually got is 3 males. Will these guys get along in my 15 gallon tank they are the only fish in there so i think they have plenty of room to spread out but im new to this and am not sure.
thanks for the quick reply i was very patient when i did my cycle so i wouldnt hurt my new fish so i was concerned if these guys would hurt each other or not but they do seem to be getting along well right now so everything seems fine i just hope it stays that way

I have had mollies since day 1 and they should be fine, and in the future when you can sex fish, before you leave the store make sure you know you have the fish you asked for beacuse alot of people working at chain pet stores have no clue whats what
Thanks for the replies I've been reading like crazy and looking at pictures now I can positively id a male and a female the problem is that I got all males like i had suspected well as long as they get along with each other and don't harass future tank mates its all good. But now when i go to the LFS i can tell them what what when i ask for a male or female and correct them when they make a mistake.
if your still looking for pics just look at the one under my name/aquarium info. You can clearly see the triangle fin on the bottom of it just before the tail meaning its a female
