Is this normal for a molly's scales?

I have noticed that my mollies' scales have been seeming to stick out, but not like dropsy. They are not bloated at all. It's just along the very bottom of their body between the gonopodium and cadual fin. I attached a pic with arrows showing where it starts and ends. It's just right along that line where the scales stick out and nowhere else. Is this normal or is there something wrong?
