morning sickness?

I have 2 female mollies, one has a larger belly than the other. I'm wondering if she's pregnant? She doesn't have a gravid spot yet, but like I said, she has a belly. I was watching after I fed the fish and noticed that she'll eat some food but immediately spit it out. All of my other fish eat the food just fine. Anyone know what could be wrong? Is this a sign she's pregnant perhaps?

Does she consume food after spitting it out ever? Cuz thats what my fish do to soften the food. She sounds like shes constipated. Try thawing out a green pea, peel it, and feed the center to her. It acts like a laxitive and will help her "relieve" herself

she eats some, spits it out; eats some, spits it out; etc.. I haven't seen her fully consume any of it.

my fish used to do that. Did she eat the same food at the petstore, or are your fish settled in?

alot of fish do this, my dwarf gourami does with blood worm. but try the pea idea and see if it makes a difference.

I came home today and she was sorta just laying on the bottom. I took her out so she was separated from the others. I tried the pea thing but she's not interested. she's not moving much. I don't think she's gonna live much longer
