Is it possible that my molly ate my frog?

I have a white male (I think) molly which I got 1 week after adding a small aquatic frog. About 2 weeks later the frog disappeared and the molly is extremely fat. I never found any bones but I did see some possible fleshy type material floating around. Do you think the molly ate him and will his huge belly ever go back to normal? (The frog has been missing for over 5 days now). The molly seems less interested in eating now and isn't moving around as much as he used to. Anyone have any ideas?

It's possible, I suppose. Unlikely, though, since mollies are mostly herbivorous, and lack tearing teeth. My mollies have problems with Omega One flakes sometimes. My mollies will ignore shrimp that are right in front of their faces.

Your Molly might be a pregnant female (fat), and your frog is probably hiding really well (they do that), and will come out soon. Search very carefully through the tank for the frog, you might still find him. Make sure he has food, just in case he is still in the tank.
