My male silver lyretailed (or is it lyretailed silver?) molly looks like he's giving one of his wives a piggy back ride, but on his face! He just swims up underneath her and pushes her along, almost at a right angle.

She is quite a bit bigger than he is and I think she's pregnant. She swims right to the heater when the light goes on (funny girl) and he follows along like a lovesick puppy. When the balloon molly comes around, she swats him with her tail. So far he's ignoring his second wife.

Is this normal or are my mollies in need of counselling? LOL

Quite normal.....he will know when to leave her alone and "pick on the other"...

Lyretails have problems breeding, and he may have to work harder than normal to accomplish his mission.

ahuh mine will do this too, why it is cute i thought is was a way of saying "hey lets do it" lol but i never see them guys.."doing" it.. so wut are they doing...cus they are not doing it lol
