Molly attacking Molly! HELP

I just added a balloon molly to my tank and my black molly started attacking him and nipping at him! He did the same when i added my new african dwarf frog too. Is it just because he is letting them know who is boss and then he will leave them alone? Or is he just a mean molly, in that case i need to bring him back because i also added a few more guppies and i don't want him being mean to them

ha ok now he is attacking him again...I called petsmart and asked the lady if this was normal. She said mollys are kinda teratorial and that they would prob. get used to each other after a couple days...but what if the black molly kills my new balloon molly before they become friends!?

Something that a lot of people here have done with their livebearers is give the belligerent one a "time out".
I can't, for the life of me, find the thread where this is discussed, so I can't give you ideas on how others do it, but I think the idea is to give the balloon and the guppies time to "claim" the tank. Then, when the belligerent one is let loose again, he's the newbie on the scene. Hopefully, the others won't do to him what he did to them.

Seperate him by putting him in one of those Fry/Breeding Net. But a better thing to do would be to move him to another tank and keep him there for couple of days.
