I have a lone balloon molly in a 5 gallon. He's only about an inch right now, but I believe he can get to be as big as 3". Any suggestions for some company to add? There's not much room using the 1" rule.

Another male livebearer? or a pair of small tetras? or a pair of small cories? otos? Nothing?

ghost shrimp! They're awesome and they don't add to the bio load. I have 2 of them in a 5 gallon with a male betta. (One of them even thinks he's a fish and goes to the top and eats with my betta.)
