Need advise about Mollies with Goldfishes please!
Please, I need info and advise. I am rescuing a woman's molly babies, and currently I have 4 goldfishes in my 55 gl aquarium. The fancy goldfishes are also small (baby-ish) and I wonder if they will get along since they are still small? Please let me know, thanks so much.

Ok and thanks, but will they fight though? Will the baby mollies attack my peaceful goldfishes? Im just wondering because both species are still littlle, probably no more than 4-5 months old. Anyone else advice? Please?

Mollies are tropical fish, goldfish need different temperatures than them (they need 10 to 22C, whereas mollies need a constant 24 to 26C). So they cannot be housed together.

Armadillo is right, housing tropicals with temperates is NEVER a good idea.
If you have the tank temperature right for the goldfish your mollies will begin to get stressed. Stress leads to a lesser slime coat. A lesser slime coat leads to disease, bacteria, parasites, etc. Those will then go from your mollies to your goldfish and wham-o, bad idea.

Goldfish can't live in 73oF? Or they can but its not "really" good for them?

They can survive, but not thrive. So you're really cutting their life expetancy by a lot by putting them through high temperatures this on a consistent basis. I would not advise it.

How many babies are you taklking about? If you are sure you want to do this, is it worth getting a new tank for them? A 30 gallon tank could house 6 or 7 mollies, but where there are 6 or 7 soon there will be 100, and there you go, YOU have the problem, unless you feed the babies to the goldfish! OM!!!

I declined the offer now from the lady. Thanks guys for the advice.
The temperature in my 55 tank is about 68 - 69, which is fine then? There only 4 of them and they are very small, it looks weird when I watch my huge tank looks a little empty.....

With that much room they will grow to their natural size and be healthier. good for you for giving it to them.

Yep, me too. Thanks so much for giving them the life they deserve. Not many people treat goldfish right, and it's very commandable that you have decided to once you had the info. A true Fishlorian.
They'll grow really big, which is going to be really rewarding for you.

Really, thanks for the advice guys! I was unsure, so I made this thread.
How long will they grow into a full "adult" size? They are about 2 - 3 inches right now. One of them is kinda baby-ish because he/she dont even grow a wen yet.
