Horses were a huge passion of mine growing up and into my teenage years and early 20's.

Now, they've become bonding time for me and Shelby. We both love to ride.

Wow... LOL everyone loves horseback riding! i used to do it too! i quit after an accident though, i was traumatized!

ken most horses love water and do it automatically ...

tony i understand that...i was hurt pretty bad as well but i had to get back in the saddle so i wouldnt be afraid

allot of my buddies have started to "share lease" their horses...which means the ability to ride and have a horse of your own for half the bills/boarding costs....the horses dont leave the site they are borded at only to be ridden and it works well for some of them

i dont envy you having to make those choices red!

yeah... i wanted to get back but i am too chicken LOL i was barely six, at a state competition and i fell in front of the horse while it jumped. It landed on me, broke my wrist, took my eyebrow with his hood (that was kinda funny... the after pics i was missing an eyebrow ) and he broke my helmet. So i am kinda afraid now LOL

Oh wow. I am terrified of horses. I can't even go near them. My friend rides them a lot and asked me if I would go riding with her one day and I told her no way I was gonna jump on a huge animal that could trample me to the ground.
