I just purchased an Mp 40 a few months ago and decided to write a review for it.
Circulation:
What it shows you in the videos is what you get. It's really great. The whole tank get circulation from it. The pulse mode is kind of fun, but I keep it at reef mode when I'm not messing with it.
Size:
You could barely see it when it's covered in coraline algae. It's cool that the thing that makes it work is actually outside the pump, but it could power something inside the tank without and cable going inside the tank. The more cables in my tank, the more afraid I am.
Price:
It's REALLY expensive, but worth it.
Safety:
When you pull it away from the motor outside the tank the pump automaticly shuts off so it won't kill all you corals lol. My fish likes to play with it too. The only thing that's happen to me is a damsel get sucked into it and got killed while I messed with it
I do recommend it if you have a mature tank with lots of corals. I bought it because I want to get rid of algae fast.
